It's been more than one month joining IBS,Hyderabad. Life has become monotonous. No time to think about anything else, other than Accounting , Marketing, Economics etc.

Now, IBS is following the footsteps of Howard and IIM. I don't know what prompted IBS to follow it and other good school not following it. I think that's the only way left for IBS to be in this business because there is always some bad news for the college every year. You all must be wondering what is so unique with these 3 colleges................Guess......Guess.....Guess....Case Study. These colleges use case study methodology of teaching. To explain you all , what exactly is case study...Class is given a case, usually real world example, covering the topics to be covered in that session. So, the question arises.......What strategy to be used by the students? We're expected to read the case and the chapter associated with that case, then relating the concepts of that chapter with the case. Sounds interesting, doesn't it? Now, imagine 3-4 such case studies a day and 6-7 hours......So, you've 2 options-either bunk a leacture or sacrifice your sleep....which I usually do-sometimes for case study, sometimes for my sweet heart....:)
